Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name and either your email address or mobile phone number (or both, if you choose to add both). You can also submit a Mass intention request as a guest without creating an account first; in that case we collect the same information at the time you submit and verify it via a one-time code, and an account is created or linked to your existing record once verification succeeds.

Mass intention requests: When you submit a Mass intention request, we collect the intention text, preferred dates, and any recipient details you provide. If you choose to send a Mass card, this includes the recipient's name and, optionally, their email address so we can notify them when the Mass is offered.

Payment information: Mass offering payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. Stripe may collect additional information as described in their privacy policy.

Organization accounts: When an organization signs up for MassRequest.com, we collect the organization name, location, contact information, and administrator details.

Technical data: We automatically collect certain technical information for spam prevention and security purposes.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Mass intention management service
• To send transactional emails and text messages (confirmations, scheduling updates, reminders, receipts)
• To send one-time verification codes for account access
• To send a single notification email to a Mass card recipient, when you provide their email address, letting them know a Mass has been offered for them
• To process Mass offering payments via Stripe

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Isolation

Each organization on MassRequest.com operates within its own isolated environment. Your Mass intention requests and account data at one organization are not accessible to other organizations.

SMS Messaging

If you register with a mobile phone number, or add one to your account, we send transactional text messages about your account and Mass intention requests. Messages include one-time verification codes, request confirmations, scheduling updates, reminders, and offering receipts. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Before sending any text message, we verify the number by sending a 6-digit code that you must enter on the site. This confirms the number is yours and records your consent to receive messages. We store the date and time you consent. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or resubscribe by replying START. Reply HELP for support information.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances. Phone numbers are shared only with our SMS delivery provider for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you have requested.

Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing for Mass offerings. Each organization connects their own Stripe account. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as you maintain an active account. Organization data is retained for as long as the organization maintains an active subscription. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

MassRequest.com is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy
