Overview

MassRequest.com ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Mediatrix Digital LLC. These terms govern your use of our website and Mass intention management platform. By using MassRequest.com, you agree to these terms.

Description of Service

MassRequest.com provides Catholic organizations with an online platform to manage Mass intention requests, scheduling, and offering payments. Users may submit Mass intention requests, make offering payments, and view Mass calendars through participating organizations.

User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You may not share your account or allow others to access it.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Mass Intention Requests

  • Submitting a Mass intention request does not guarantee it will be scheduled on a specific date. Scheduling is at the discretion of the organization.
  • Mass intentions are subject to the norms of the Catholic Church and the policies of the individual organization.
  • Organizations may cancel or reschedule Mass intentions as needed. You will be notified of any changes.

Offerings & Payments

  • Mass offering amounts are set by each organization in accordance with diocesan guidelines.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. MassRequest.com does not store your credit card information.
  • Refunds are handled by the organization that received the offering. Contact the organization directly for refund requests.
  • MassRequest.com is not responsible for disputes between users and organizations regarding offerings.

Organization Responsibilities

Each organization using MassRequest.com is responsible for:

  • Fulfilling scheduled Mass intentions in accordance with canon law
  • Managing their own Stripe account and offering payments
  • Setting appropriate offering amounts per diocesan norms
  • Communicating with requestors about scheduling changes

Text Messaging (SMS)

  • If you provide a mobile phone number at registration or on your profile, you consent to receive transactional text messages from MassRequest.com about your account and Mass intention requests, including one-time verification codes, request confirmations, scheduling updates, reminders, and offering receipts.
  • Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply.
  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. You may opt back in by replying START. Reply HELP at any time for support contact information, or visit our contact page.
  • SMS is available for mobile numbers in the United States and Canada only. Landline numbers and numbers in other regions are not supported.
  • We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit fraudulent Mass intention requests or payments
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service for other users
  • Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the platform without permission

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of MassRequest.com are the property of Mediatrix Digital LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

MassRequest.com is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not a parish, diocese, or religious institution, and we do not make any representations regarding the celebration of Masses or the fulfillment of Mass intentions.

Limitation of Liability

Mediatrix Digital LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
